WHY WE DON'T HAVE NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE. . . Just follow the $$$$$$ . . . Its time to have a nonprofit health care system. We don't have national health insurance because of the big
money to be made in healthcare by health insurers, drug companies and yes, even hospitals.
It's time to stop the immorality of profiting on the backs of sick people!!!

As Washington grumbles over the cost of private Medicare plans, big
insurers are busy signing up more seniors. Humana reported higher-than-expected third-quarter earnings today, and said it expanded its Medicare Advantage business to 1.14 million customers,
a gain of 15% over the year-earlier period. Its stock opened up 6% this morning on the news. . . . . snip.....Overall, Humana's earnings were up 90%, . . . snip Comment: "I grumble too! and FUME!!

Universal Health Services Shares Rise on 4th-Quarter Profit and 2008 Outlook February 29, 2008
Shares of hospital operator Universal Health Services Inc. rose Friday after the company topped Wall
Street's fourth-quarter profit expectations and set 2008 guidance mostly above forecasts. The stock rose
$2.37, or 4.6 percent, to $53.42. Shares have traded between $46.21 and $63.40 over the last 52 weeks. Late
Thursday, the company said it earned 74 cents per share on an adjusted basis on a 17 percent boost in revenue from both acute care and behavioral health facilities. It expects 2008 profit from continuing
